The Hotel Tahiti Nui is the newest hotel on the island. It features a clean, modern design with a young and trendy ambiance. Unlike the other beachside resorts in Tahiti, this hotel is located at the heart of downtown Papeete, putting you right in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. This provides convenient access to the shops, restaurants, nightlife and other attractions, but removes you slightly from the shoreline.
Each room and suite at the Hotel Tahiti Nui features a private balcony with sea, city or mountain views. The decor is especially fashionable with contemporary colors complemented by natural earth tones. Guest amenities include an outdoor swimming pool and a relaxation spa with fitness center. The hotel's Chocco Latte Lounge Bar can be a lively scene on weekends, providing a popular late night gathering for locals and visitors alike.

We love that this hotel is walking distance to downtown. It's a great option if you want convenient access to the shops and restaurants; although you hardly have to leave the hotel for an excellent meal—Le Velvet, in our opinion, is one of the best restaurants in Papeete. The trendy Chocco Latte Lounge has an awesome vibe and is very popular with locals and tourists. Hotel Tahiti Nui attracts a contemporary clientele, but since many rooms feature a full kitchenette, it's a great place for families as well.
