Handline Lagoon Fishing

1 Hour

Try local fishing in one of the world’s most fish-rich lagoons! After a few minutes by boat, the captain will drop anchor near a cluster of coral, which is generally a favorable habitat for fishing. Equipped only with nylon lines, hooks, and hermit crabs, experience traditional Tuamotu fishing. Here are the fish you may have the chance to catch: needlefish, marbled grouper, paddletail snapper, and surgeonfish.

Manta Snorkeling

1 Hour, 30 Minutes

Meet the majestic manta rays. Dive into adventure and experience snorkeling with the majestic manta rays. Located at Tikehau’s former pearl farm, just 5 minutes by boat from the hotel, this site has become a cleaning station for these fascinating creatures. A minimum of two persons is required to operate the tour.

Bird Island Excursion

2 Hours, 9:30AM or 2PM Departure

Journey by motor boat across the lagoon to "Bird Island". Here you can discover a wild island that is home to many species of birds: several varieties of boobies, the brown noddy, frigates and the elegant fairy tern to name a few. You can also enjoy a bit of snorkeling to see the amazing undersea flora and fauna that live in these clear, colorful waters. A minimum four persons are required to operate the tour.

Sunset Cruise with Champagne

1 Hour

Admire the stunning sunset in Tikehau. Sail leisurely in the lagoon while enjoying smoked fish toasts and taking in the colors of the setting sun. A unique and romantic experience!

Lagoon Tour with Motu lunch

6 Hours

Discover the Atoll of Tikehau. Embark on a boat adventure to explore the wild motus (islets) in a true Robinson Crusoe spirit. First, enjoy a boat ride along the motus of the atoll before visiting Bird Island, a natural refuge home to 8 bird species. After this immersion in nature, you will be invited to savor a local lunch on a still very wild motu. This unique experience allows you to reconnect with nature, combining exploration, relaxation, and local flavors. A minimum of four persons is required to operate the tour.

Snorkeling Tour

3 Hours

Dive into Tikehau’s Pristine Waters. Join our snorkeling excursion and explore the paradise-like waters. During this half-day, discover the different snorkeling sites in Tikehau: the old pearl farm with manta rays, the unique Tuheiava pass, and the coral garden. A minimum of three persons is required to operate the tour.

Explore Tikehau’s land & sea combo. Start with an unforgettable snorkeling experience at the manta ray spot, where you can swim alongside these majestic marine creatures. Finally, dive back into the crystal-clear lagoon waters for snorkeling at the pass, an ideal place to admire the rich marine life. A minimum of six persons is required to operate the tour.
