Private 4X4 Cultural Island Tour by Natura Discovery

3 hours 30 minutes, 8:30AM and 1:30PM Departures

Circle the island with your professional and experienced guide. Learn the island`s legends, discover the American WWII cannons, visit an ancient temple (marae), and meet a local family who will serve you fruit from their plantation. You will also visit villages where you will learn how to make your own sarong and discover the local fauna of the island. During this authentic experience you will stop at several vistas for breath-taking views of Maupiti Island, Teavanui Pass, Matira Beach, and the sacred stone of "Hiro the Warrior". Price is per person, based on one couple traveling together. 

​Pick-up location: From mainland hotel lobby or hotel`s mainland base. For those located on a motu (make arrangements with your hotel`s front desk or concierge for your shuttle transfers to and from the mainland).
