Begin your journey in a 4WD vehicle through the legendary Taipivai Valley, made famous by Herman Melville’s Typee. Continue on to the picturesque village of Hatiheu to explore traditional paepae (stone platforms) and tohua (ceremonial grounds). Enjoy a delicious, authentic Marquesan lunch at a local restaurant in Hatiheu.
