Wine Cellar Tour with Tasting

1 Hour, Departs at 5PM

Discover French Polynesia's only winery, Dominique Auroy's Vin de Tahiti, on the atoll of Rangiroa. Upon arrival there will be an introduction to the Rangiroa Wine, after which you can view the wine cellar. At the end of the tour, you can taste Rangiroa Wine and a type of rum made from sugar cane called 'Mana'o'. If so inclined, you can purchase the wine and rum to take home or enjoy later in your room. Available only to guests of the Hotel Kia Ora Resort & Spa.

3-Course Dinner at Holy Delices

Enjoy an evening dining at Holy Delices, on the island of Moorea. Perched on a hillside and looking down across Moorea's lagoon, you can enjoy the magnificent view as you dine on their selection of the highest-grade beef and pork. Alternatively, poultry, fish, salads, and burgers are also available. Your dinner will include a starter, main course with side, and a dessert from a set menu.  

Puamau Valley and Lipona Site with Picnic Lunch, Hiva Oa

Full Day

Journey across the island to the remote northeast valley of Puamau along a breathtaking route that winds through lush valleys and traditional villages. Visit the remarkable Iipona archaeological site, home to some of the largest ancient tikis in Polynesia, including `Takai` (8 feet tall) and the rare `Makai`i Taua Pepe,` the only known Polynesian tiki depicted lying horizontally. Enjoy a traditional home-cooked lunch with a local host, Marie-Antoinette, followed by a refreshing swim. On the return journey, stop in the tropical forest of Punaei to encounter the mysterious, smiling tiki `Utuka.`

Tahuata Island Day Trip with BBQ Lunch, Hiva Oa

Depart the port of Tahauku aboard a local fishing boat and cruise toward the island of Tahuata, passing the striking Hanakee Rock, where, if you`re lucky, you might spot graceful manta rays. Visit the charming hamlet of Hapatoni before making a stop in the village of Vaitahu, where you can explore its beautiful church, small museum, and local artisan market. Tahuata is renowned for its skilled woodcarvers and unique handcrafts made from horse and goat bone, pig tusks, and even swordfish bills. Finish the day on a stunning white-sand beach, where you’ll enjoy swimming, relaxing, and a traditional beachside barbecue.
