    OUR TAHITI.COM EXPERIENCE
"While researching last-minute vacation options involving an off-the-grid island escape with overwater bungalow, I stumbled on a photo of the most unique hut accommodations and said, “I must go there.” This was Ninamu Resort in Tikeahua.

Vahine was spectacularly beautiful, casually well-appointed and an amazing foodie experience. We had the end bungalow as requested by Amalia.

Ninamu was breathtakingly natural, and a sort of Gilligan’s Island world traveler castaway experience. Staff at both resorts were incredibly warm, friendly and accommodating.

As this trip was last minute, the arrangements and booking of all connecting flights, boat shuttles and the pre-red eye departure respite in business class lounge at Papeete were truly appreciated.
Thank you Tahiti.com for helping facilitate the trip of a lifetime."

    Best Dining Indulgence:
With items on Vahine’s multi course menu such as Smoked Marlin & Eggplant Caviar and Mahi iMahi Crusted with Parsely and Garlic, it’s hard to isolate the best. But standout items were definitely Pierre’s homemade breakfast yogurt with vanilla from Taha’a and my flaming birthday Crème Brulee.
    Favorite Island Indulgence:
Sleeping and waking surrounded by nature from the luxurious comfort of our gorgeous lodgings.
Meal plans at both locations. We never had to think about what, when or where to eat. It was always perfect.

Sun setting behind Bora Bora from the Vahine overwater bungalow deck. .
    Most Exciting Wildlife Encounter:
Swimming with a Manta off a deserted Pearl Farm, snorkeling in a shoal of barracuda, scuba diving with sea turtles, having a an octopus wrap itself around my arm and seeing a coconut crab up close.
    Most Memorable Moment:
Feeding black tipped sharks at Vahine. Chef Pierre caused a little frenzy at the shoreline with dinner leftovers.
Nate organized a Cards Against Humanity game with our small international group of fellow travelers during a rain storm on Ninamu.
Meeting Ninamu’s visiting guide, Aussie pirate surfer Mark Coleman.

    TRIP FAVORITES
    Favorite Island Indulgence:
One day, we drove around Moorea in what I will call a go-kart (and that's being generous). We had a blast and stopped at several churches, viewpoints, and even the grocery store. It was a great way to see the island.
    Best Hotel Experience:
The Intercontinental Bora Bora Thalasso is an outstanding hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and provided amazing service. Our overwater bungalow was stunning beyond our expectations. We had a couples massage at the spa and the entire time we could watch the fish in the lagoon through a window in the floor. I can't make this stuff up!
    Best View/Photo Op:
Our sunset boat tour and photo session combo was really fun. We actually didn't realize it was a photo session until we left the dock, we just thought we were going on a sunset cruise. Not only was cruise around the lagoon wonderful, but we also have some amazing photos that we'll treasure forever. Our tour guide/photographer/captain was fantastic.
    Best Activity Experience:
We took a snorkel tour around Bora Bora as well. During one of our stops, we drifted along above a flock of 24 eagle rays. They were absolutely gorgeous. We've never seen anything like it and it remains one of the highlights of our trip.
    Most Memorable Moment:
While on Bora Bora, we also went to church one morning to hear their famous singing. As soon as the choir started I burst into tears, it was so beautiful! All the parishioners were very welcoming to us, we even got a ride to church from some local aunties.
    Best Food Experience:
Our last night on Bora Bora, we ate at Mai Kai. The food was delicious and again, the staff were incredibly friendly.

"We really enjoyed our honeymoon trip. The islands are truly beautiful and we had such a wonderful time! We could not have asked for more!!! We had a dream honeymoon. It’s hard to say what we liked the most as everything was amazing. My top two tours are the ATV tour in Moorea, which was a real adventure, and the Love Boat in Bora Bora, which let us admire beautiful views of this stunning island and left us with pictures that will help us remember our great experience.

In general, each of our tour guides was friendly and very kind. Great people! The resorts were incredible, customer service could not have been better, so we are very pleased! We came back home with lots of special memories that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

Thank you so much for your patience, assistance and guidance during the process of planning our honeymoon vacation. Every single tip and advice you provided from the very beginning was very beneficial. We could not be happier with our experience with Tahiti.com."

I could not have done it without Carrie Walker at Tahiti.com, she and the company were first class all the way. From helping me change the Catmaran cruise from 3 to 2 nights and upgrading from the Emerald to the Diamond Villa at the Intercontinental Bora Bora Thalasso, to even getting me a Go Pro, which I would not go to Bora Bora without. With that said go on a trip of a lifetime and let Carrie and Tahiti.com book it."

    WHERE THEY STAYED
    OUR TAHITI.COM EXPERIENCE
"My husband and I couldn't have been more happy with our trip to Bora Bora! Our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough! Ryan with Tahiti.com helped us plan our once in a lifetime trip to paradise, and he truly thought of everything! Everything went perfectly, and he helped us customize our package the way we wanted it. We loved that we were able to do that and not limited to set packages. We got the free GoPro with our package. I can’t even imagine us going to Bora Bora without it, so I’m so thankful that we had it! That was just one way that Tahiti.com helped make our trip more memorable!

The view of the mountain from our overwater bungalow at the Intercontinental Thalasso was to die for, and will never be forgotten! One of my favorite memories was relaxing with a drink on our bungalow deck watching the sun go down. We kept ourselves busy all week with all of the hotel activities and several excursions. The water was such a gorgeous shade of aqua blue, and was so clear that it felt like we were swimming in a pool. We indulged in the Deep Sea Spa at our hotel, and enjoyed a couple’s massage in an overwater bungalow with glass floors so we could watch the fish during the massage, then enjoyed their spa facilities for the rest of the afternoon. It was heavenly! We saw lots of wildlife by our bungalow. We saw an octopus, two squids, a black tip shark, a young barracuda, clams, sea cucumbers, stingrays, two spotted eagle rays and several types of fish!

We also loved the Aqua Helmet Safari! Our guides were amazing and made everything fun, and it was such a great time! We got some great photo ops with gorgeous views during our Jeep 4x4 Safari, and enjoyed learning about the Island and it’s culture. Our most memorable excursion from the trip was swimming with sharks. We got some really great photos thanks to the GoPro. We still can’t believe that we did that…in Bora Bora! I highly recommend Tahiti.com and Ryan Amell if you plan to visit Bora Bora, which everyone must see at least once in their lifetime! We hope to return for a milestone Anniversary, and will look to Tahiti.com if we do."

    OUR TAHITI.COM EXPERIENCE
"Thank you so much for booking our trip, Candice! You did a wonderful job of making our vacation a very enjoyable and memorable one. It is sure to be a time in my wife's and my life that we will never forget. The Hilton Moorea was absolutely amazing. Would absolutely go back there again and again. Very accommodating, very attentive to their guests needs. The head Concierge was extremely helpful and even gave us a transit room when we arrived, which was totally unexpected. My wife and I have done a fair bit of traveling and we have never felt so welcomed and appreciated as we did when we stayed at the Hilton. And the property was awesome too! Also, thanks for the foresight on your part to include the breakfast in the price of our trip. I honestly didn't think it was going to be that big of a deal, but boy was I wrong. I wouldn't go back without including breakfast again, it saved us a ton of money. Hilton Moorea has by far the best breakfast buffet we have seen.

In Bora Bora we took the 4x4 Jeep Safari around the island. That was quite cool as well, saw the cannon on the mountain, got the feel for the local culture. The next day we did the snorkeling with the sharks and rays. Cannot say enough good things about that trip. We did the full day tour with the lunch on the private motu...we were treated like family. Took a tour of the coconut grove and walked over to the ocean side of the motu. Had a nice leisurely swim along with the canoe before being sailed back to the Meridien. We would have done this twice if time had allowed, it was that much fun. Last day we did the jet ski around the entire lagoon, the guide did some explaining on the things that we did not see the previous day on the shark/ray tour. Did some snorkeling in the beach at the resort.

If I had to give one piece of advice to anyone traveling to Tahiti: you must go to Bora Bora and do the snorkeling with the sharks and rays. That was easily the best thing about the entire trip to "paradise". Pieces of advice two and three, wear sunscreen and buy a waterproof camera.

Thanks again for booking such a wonderful trip!"

"Carrie is by far, the all time BEST travel agent ever! Ours was the absolutely greatest honeymoon anyone could ever ask for and it was largely due to perfection of Carrie’s planning. Her suggestions were dead on with the St Regis resort. I don't have words to express how beautiful it was or how much we enjoyed it; it was absolutely perfect! Everything was seemless from the very start. Carrie was able to upgrade our villa so we had a view of the mountain and a Jacuzzi on the terrace; I cannot put into words how incredibly beautiful it was. The transfers and the excursion we requested were right on time and planned perfectly in Bora Bora. We absolutely loved everything about the entire trip!!! We were treated like royalty from the very minute we stepped off the plane until the minute we got home. My highest recommendations for Tahiti.com and Carrie Walker!!!"

    OUR TAHITI.COM EXPERIENCE
"Carrie Walker, Tahiti Specialist at Tahiti.com, made our trip of a lifetime simple. She listened to our hopes for this very special trip and created an itinerary that we could have not have possibly executed ourselves. It involved four flights, one ferry trip, eight shuttle transfers, four dinners, eight breakfasts, one transit room, three resorts, three islands destinations, and one snorkel trip. She also provided accurate and valuable information surrounding our sought after PADI certification for scuba diving. Every single one of these arrangements was executed on time and with a smile.

The "Reef Discovery" was completely amazing and apparently, this particular tour was NOT offered through the resorts. The “Reef Discovery” was perhaps the highlight of our trip and is a must if you plan to visit Bora Bora.

Also, if you don't get an over the water bungalow, don't worry, often the other bungalows offer more privacy and may be hidden within lush vegetation.

If you are considering a trip to the South Pacific, be sure to book with Carrie, because she'll be able to book the best service providers in the South Pacific without a hitch during your travels."

"We had a fabulous week at Vahine Island and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to unplug and relax! We LOVED it!! It was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation. We snorkeled, paddle boarded, and kayaked around the lagoon. One morning, we went snorkeling to a nearby coral reef and then the staff dropped us off on a deserted motu with a picnic lunch, blanket and umbrella. They returned a couple of hours later to pick us up. So much fun :) The staff will take you fishing, show you how to weave palm leaves, how to open a coconut and things like that. Terence and Laure and the staff at Vahine Island are the BEST. It’s a definite 5-star in our book."

    Favorite Activity:
Doing nothing. The last few days of our trip we never left our bungalow except to eat. We played games, read, napped and snorkeled all from and within our private little world.
