Le Mandarin is located on a quiet street right in the heart of the commercial center of Papeete, directly opposite Papeete City Hall.Guests are within short walking distance of Papeete's waterfront promenade, Papeete Market, banks, government offices and shops.

Their 37 air conditioned rooms are
well-appointed with satellite color TV (5 international channels
including CNN), video, mini-bar, refrigerator,
direct dial telephone, large bathroom with shower, hair dryer and both
110V and 220V electrical outlets
For families on vacation The Mandarin Hotel offers communicating rooms.

The Mandarin Hotel has three restaurants: The
Mandarin, The Plazza and The Coffee Shop.
The Coffee Shop’s atmosphere is convivial and is open from 6am to 6pm
offering breakfast and light meal

The Plazza offers fine cuisine in an intimate and comfortable
setting where you will feel drawn towards the intricate Chinese decor
surrounding you. During evenings and weekends, a list of ancestral Chinese
specialties is also proposed. The Plazza can accommodate up to 200 people. It is
open Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. It is
closed on Saturday and Sunday evenings.
The Mandarin Restaurant takes you on a journey deep into the heart of
China as you are surrounded by beautiful frescos of landscapes, peach trees in
bloom, and mystical fire breathing dragons. The red lanterns and the decorative
screens provide a secluded and intimate ambiance. You will discover and savor
Cantonese specialties that have made their reputation as one of the finest
cuisines in the world. Ingredients arrive locally from the crystal clear waters
and luscious gardens of Tahiti.
The chef creates exotic yet refreshingly delicious dishes along with fragrant
flavors such as "Spiced Lobster", "Duck with Marquisian kum quat", "Salt water
Tahitian shrimp" or "Tarot stuffed pork". A true delight.... To accompany your
meal, you may choose between a fine selection of over 150 different wines.
The Mandarin Restaurant is open from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM and from 6:30 PM to
9:30 PM.
