welcome, with their burnished hardwoods, louvered windows, thatched ceilings and
earth-toned fabrics. Discerning guests revel in the authentic Polynesian feel,
whilst also appreciating the modern touches such as direct dial phone, safe,
satellite-television, CD, DVD and MP3 reader, minibar and coffee-maker. The

in Bora Bora. Overlooking the interior lagoon, it welcomes you in an original
setting. Dinner a la carte and several buffets on different themes offered.

talented musicians.

Meridien Bora Bora has an exceptional private lagoon, where you can discover
three remarkable sights - the sandbank of Platax, the channel of the turtles and
the coral garden.
More than 100 types of species can be observed: - fish with brilliant colours,
corals with strange forms and surprising shells.
Le Meridien Bora Bora actively participates in the protection of these
species. A special program has been implemented to ensure the successful future
of the turtles in the ocean. In co-ordination with the Ministry and the
Delegation of the Environment, a team is devoted to the care and treatment of
the marine turtle. This care centre, situated in the heart of the hotel, is
unique in the world.
Every year, baby turtles are entrusted to this centre where they will be assured
sufficient growth for protection from future predators. The juvenile turtles are
typically carnivorous, and feed on tiny invertebrate, plankton and fish-eggs.
Adult turtles on the contrary are herbivorous.
Enjoy the opportunity to experience the turtles in their natural habitat where
you may observe their feeding and their care, with complete respect of the
environment and the ecosystem.
