Marie-Helene Villierme
Born in France from a Polynesian father and an Italian mother, her family came back to Tahiti when she was 10 years old. Since 1990, she collected Polynesian black & white portraits and published them in her beautiful book "Visages de Polynésie". She and Dominique Morvan also published a book of photographs related to Polynesian tattoo "Tatau". In 2005, she published "Tangata: A Polynesian Community" from photos taken in the Tuamotu and the Gambier Islands.
